Take as long as you want Valve.
Teh, glad I didn't play Beyond good and Evil then if that's the case.
I agree, I think it's more about Korea being invaded. In that sense, I think they should have left the invaders identity-less, or make them all have various accents without pinning them a specific country (and we all know who much the Americans are afraid of accents haha/sarcasm)
"True, but any country trying to develop nuclear weapons in my eyes should at least be considered a threat even if the nukes r only as powerful as the first atomic bomb. "
Yeah...US as has all the Nukes...
"Hackers"? What you mean "hackers"...? There's never been any hackers on Modern Waref...oooooooh you mean the PS3 version ;)
This whole arguement people bring up about the PS3 having quality over quantity stinks of N64 vs PS. Back then, PS had the quantity and all Nintendo fanboys could argue against it was the N64 was more powefull. Remember your response back then? "Playstation is easy to develope for..." e.t.c.
It's amusing to see your logic change to fit the appropriate situation.
Xbox vs Ps2 anyone?
That's why - surprise suprise - it's all about profit, not "who has the biggest numbers". I know the fanboys want their console to have sold the most as proof that they rooted for the right person, but once again, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are Corporations and the bottom line is profit.
That's why Sony are not going to spend $500 million on marketing, at least they're not going to do it unless they're going to gain from it.
Most people contributed $5-$10. Compare that to $50 for a single game :/
The character have no shadows :/
I'm glad they've been able to figure out a fix. it sounds quite clever too: by-pass the files they used to hack it. (I think thats what he said).
I worry that it may not be the last of the hackers though. If future game releases require the new patch then the only pirated games avliable on the PS3 are those prior to this patch. In which case, might the hackers attempt to hack the firmware updates so they can keep getting pirated versions of the latest games? Esp...
I love how 90% of the comments aren't even about the article! No really, I like it :)
It's actually a very good article. It's point out that despite companies moaning about us illegally stealing their software (information) they (ILLEGALLY) steal our personal information. And no-one seems that bothered...
Err, I think that's his point. I visited the site and I still don't know what this "CPU exploit" is. I tried reading the comments to see if someone explained it but no luck so far. But it's still top news on N4G...
Well you need to...oh wait, you've only got one bubble, no wonder you don't reply to responses :) Hey, I can abuse you all I want and you can't say anything back! And don't forget silence is consent/admitting defeat...
They're sueing for a particular Blu-Ray tech that happens to be in PS3. Blu-Ray wasn't laughed at back then, infact it had alot of support (including from LG). It was only laughed at by Microsoft and Xbox fanboys because they saw it as console feature competition. You really should get out a bit more and see the world beyond video games :)
It's funny hearing all the fanboys trying to comment on something they know nothing about. "eh...LG suckz! Playstation is immortal!".
10 days sale WILL hurt Sony. Not as much as a 6 month or 1 year ban, but it WILL hurt them, even in the netherlands. The fact that they've been able to get a ban in Europe, and they've agreed to "investigate" it in the US means there's probably some sort of merit to the infringement. In a way it serves ...
N4G <3 Cliffy B.
If you are reading this Cliffy B, can I make a request? PUT A GODDAMN THEATRE MODE IN GEARS 3!!! It needs it already!
I think you calling it a "teen game" proves your own immaturity and closed-mindedness. I should point out that although Gears might not be that deep, it is still deeper than 90% of the games on the market today and yesterday.
It's also your OWN assumption that Cliffy B "wants to be something big". He made a game he enjoys, which is what game developers have always done since day one.
And he clearly IS big because his own personal observatio...
So Cliffy B plays a game and it ends up as top story on N4G. Cliffy B comments about the fact that he was on N4g and ends up as the top story on N4G.
The circle continues...
"I fought the law and the, law won..."
Shame, shame, shame, dissappointed. I'm not gona lie, I was hoping that if hotz won the case it would usher a new era of...well, whatever they said would happen. Though I never use pirated games (apart from old emulators, which count apparently) I do support torrents. Shame hotz copted out and couldn't be the hero.
It's interesting that we don't know what sony's end of the bargain was...
